Complete Poetry Terms Partner Categorization Activity Chart: Define poetry terms and group them in the following categories according to definition; Types of Poetry, Structure of a Poem, Figurative Language, and Sound Devices.
Response to Literature Writing Assignment
Write a Response to Literature about your group short story. Decide whether you liked the story or not, and cite textual evidence from the story. In other words, use a line or statement, or passage that "backs up" how you feel about the short story. Include background information about author, characters, conflict, and theme. Start April 22, 2016 on the Pre-writing Step of the Writing Process by writing a Web and an Outline. The Rough Draft is due April 29, 2016. This is a written copy that must be three pages!
